Limits Of Specialisation

In medicine there is an acknowledged problem with creating such highly specialised personnel that they can only see and deal with specific symptoms, rather than the whole person.

There is a similar effect in organisations.

We sometimes see people only two dimensionally i.e. for what they do, or don't do; rather than how 'who they are' impacts on what they do and how they do it.
