'Gunslingers, Marshalls and Homesteaders' is an interesting way of looking at the roles we play in our professional and personal lives, as well as the roles played by those around us.
We probably have one role that sits most comfortably with us. Each is needed for establishing, maintaining and protecting what we want and need. Each has aptitudes and limitations in varying situations.
The key is to know which one we primarily are so that we know which skills we need to look for externally when they are needed. It helps to know you are a 'gunslinger' if you are asked to be a 'homesteader'!
