A strategic adviser and facilitator with over twenty years experience working at board level with large corporations, organisations and charities. He co-founded a multi million pound corporate communications and public affairs business, now called MHP. Jeremy combines this commercial experience with fifteen years of training and experience in psychology and experiential psychotherapy.
JMS Resources was founded to combine business experience with human insight in order to amplify the strategic capability of senior leaders and teams, particularly in high value, sensitive or difficult conditions.
In 2001 he was awarded a bursary to train in psychotherapy and has remained in the post graduate study programme since then.
Wider life experience includes; winning a scholarship into the British Army, sponsored by the Parachute Regiment; spending seven years as a special forces trained soldier in covert reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition with the HAC; being a ski guide and deck hand.
Jeremy was also the managing director of Ian Greer Associates in 1994 when the Cash for Questions scandal engulfed it, so he knows something about crisis management and business ethics from first hand experience; hence his interest in practical ethics in corporate and political life.
An Expert Advisor to the Independent Complaints Panel of the Association of Professional Political Consultants, he has also worked with the Institute of Business Ethics in creating and delivering workshops on Ethics in Corporate and Public Affairs. He chaired a charity for 7 years and has been teaching strategic thinking and planning to brand planners and strategists with the Account Planning Group since 2010.
Jeremy grew up in Bahrain, Kenya and Germany. He has worked and lived in America, France, Italy and the Caribbean. International experience includes: France - advising on the development of multinational CEO's; CEO/chairman relationship development and Director performance management: South Africa - advising on cross cultural team building strategies strategy: America - UK/US translation and communication issues, as well as improving Director level communications UK to US: Multinational - facilitating improved multinational connection between country heads: Brussels - Country head development. Jeremy has also worked in Bermuda, China, Curaçao, the Czech Republic, India, Kenya, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Thailand.
